I think this is a very important question about a medium and a psychic. Contains a very important answer to understand that in fact, those are two different spiritual abilities of magic, serving the same purpose to help you find clarity and guidance.
Psychic
A psychic is a person who with their sensitivity can read energies. The psychic can pick up energies from a place or another person. We feel psychic through our senses such as feelings, images, hearing, smell, taste, and something we call clear knowing.
For sensitive people who have no knowledge of psychics, it can be difficult to control their ability. It can be difficult to distinguish between “my feelings” and “your feelings”.
When you feel psychic, you are not in contact with the spirit world, but work with energies and other people’s aura. But a psychic can connect to the spirit world without realizing it because the spirit world likes to use the channels that they have access to.
Medium
A medium is a person who is able to convey information between the spirit world and our material world of consciousness. A medium is also psychic and is sensitive to energies from both disincarnated and incarnated spirits.
Through training and development, the medium learns to control the energies and recognize at which level they lie, whether it is psychic or contact with the spirit world. An incarnated spirit vibrates at a higher frequency.
An experienced medium should be able to provide evidence for the survival of the soul. A medium must be able to provide verifiable information about someone who has crossed over to the other side.
The biggest difference
The biggest difference between a psychic and a medium is that a psychic works with earthly conditions and incarnated spirits while a medium works with incarnated spirits. An experienced medium must provide evidence for the survival of the soul, but a psychic does not have to do that.
I am both a psychic and a medium and I must say that I´m still learning and developing my skills with every step of this journey. It is indeed an endless learning process and I love every second of it.
Spiritualists are those who believe in a continued future existence and that people who have passed on to the spirit world can and do communicate with us. Spiritualism does not tell you what to believe or how to interpret religious philosophy. We have no books that must be followed, we have no preachers whose words must be followed.
