Five Questions and Answers About Spirituality

What do you think is the most important to becoming more spiritual?

To be yourself is the fastest way to spirituality. Not to change according to any notions, to look behind our stories about the world, about others, and about ourselves. Getting to know one’s strengths and let’s say fewer strengths. Simply knowing yourself will allow you to walk the spiritual path. Everything else falls into place. It’s never about finding another person, but about finding yourself back. Again, this is why I think the word guide is so good in this context – to lead people back to themselves, or to source, which is in many ways the same thing in spirituality.

What is the meaning of being spiritual?

Imagine waking up one day with no memory and not knowing who you are, where you come from, where you’re going and what it’s all about. How did I end up here? That’s exactly how it is for most people here on earth and that’s what creates confusion, worry, and fear. To some extent, of course, this is as it should be, in order for us to have the opportunity to learn our “earthly lessons“. But we also have an ability to bring what we already have within us to live – getting to know oneself and one’s origins give a sense of meaning. And that, in turn, creates an inner peace that is unmatched. It is the energy of spirituality.

Who would you be without the spiritual side in your life?

A fool I think. It´s a joke, but it’s true. I wouldn’t like myself. Mostly would be grumpy, full of ego, and full of self-absorption. Probably would be so angry at the outside world that I would get sick. When I tried that, it was neither very successful nor very comfortable. Therefore, I prefer to see it all as a collaboration instead. Without spirituality, most things lose their meaning and their color, and we will grope around in the dark. Think of Plato´s cave. Definitely don´t want to live there anymore.

Five Questions and Answers about Spiritual Guides

You talk about us all having our own guides, but what exactly are they?

Guides are a collective name in spirituality for the guides we have on the other side who help us and lead us right in this life. It can be angels, and deceased family members, but guides usually mean those who have a connection with us in our larger spiritual family. People who are not here now and have not been in your lifetime, but who can therefore help you with who you are and what you are to do according to the Book of Life, something you agreed on before you came here. Most likely, you have been their guide before.

Have we ever had a life together?

Yes, you have lived in previous incarnations with your guides and created good energy between you, which means that you now trust each other to work well together. Maybe have grown up in the same family, been partners, or had other strong ties. Probably you have common karma that you can now resolve by guiding and being guided. That is why you can be very close to your guides on the other side even though you have not been seen in this life as the person you are now.

What can they help us with and how do you work with guides yourself?

They can help, support or warn me when I am involved in something special in life. We’re a little confused on this side, to say the least because we can’t remember who we are. Spirituality helps us remember.
Many times you don’t know for sure what to do in a situation, or which option to choose. We may make the “wrong” choices or meet the “wrong” people. Sometimes we simply deviate from the path we are supposed to walk, then you can benefit greatly from your guides. Their signs come in a variety of ways that you can train yourself to read and understand. You can also get confirmation from them that you are on the right path in moments of doubt. In my spiritual work, the guides help me, among other things, by showing the client’s aura and chakra colors, symbols, and parts of the life map.

Can everyone turn to their guides or is it just a medium who can do it?

Everyone already uses their guides but most don’t know it. There is no other way to live. They call it a gut feeling, intuition, fate, and a lot of others things. Together with the guide, you have a joint agreement on how to get from here to there, do those tasks, and be part of these events. You develop it, and the guide evolves from it. If you learn to listen and read the signs then it goes easier and you will avoid hesitation or doubt. But some manage life well anyway, following their guides and the plan without having a clue that they have guides or a plan. Awareness of how it usually works simplifies life, but it is not a must. A medium has learned to use their guides in a wider perspective to be able to guide other people. But it’s a training thing.

How can I find out which guides I have?

Oh, there are lots of ways. One can go to a medium, of course. You can dream about your guide, you can get one name that sort of sticks in and that you feel familiar with without knowing how. Or just look in a mirror and pray the guide appears a bit in the mirror image. You can meditate. You can look at one’s incarnations and find out who played a decisive role there. And you can take a course on the subject.
You can … well, you can do a lot of things. The important thing is that you are open and responsive, as, the guides show themselves in one way or another, sooner or later. If it is important to one and you are interested, you usually get an answer. If you are uncertain, as I said, you can always ask for help from a medium, that’s why we’re here, to give you the clarity and guidance you need.
